Quarantine is a crazy time! There are rumors this will happen off and on again in the future. I really hope that is not true! Something I have had a hard time with is finding a quarantine daily schedule. It is hard to feel motivated during quarantine.

But I have found that making a daily schedule and trying to stick to it has helped a ton! I mean we have schedules with our kids and their schoolwork- why not for us? A quarantine schedule for adults has kind of been my saving grace!

My Morning Quarantine Daily Schedule

I start every morning by trying to get ready for the day. This is easier said than one- especially with a newborn. But it helps to get ready and feel like you are going to be productive.

As I get ready or make breakfast, I will listen to a podcast. Usually a business or motivational podcast. Listening to something empowering or business based helps me feel inspired and that I don’t want to be lazy but instead have a daily quarantine schedule.

I have also found it very helpful to get my planner out. My favorite planner is amazing because there are not dates in it. And let’s be real during quarantine you might not need a daily or weekly planner. It is the best because no pages are going to waste when I go out of town, am lazy etc.

I love to go on morning walks and will do that and listen to another podcast or just enjoy the time watching my son ride his bike. I try to go on a walk in the morning and/or the evening. It is cooler outside and there are less people.

Afternoon

Before lunch I will try to have some creative time. This can be a hobby, some work, brainstorming etc. It helps my brain get going and gives me something to look forward to!

After lunch I will try to have some skill time. It has been really fun to learn a skill during quarantine.

Before dinner I try to have some service time. This helps give me meaning and forget about myself. It can be simple! I like writing a hand written card, calling one of my grandmas etc. It is my goal to send a hand written card to someone once a week. I used to be really good at it and I am trying to get back into that pattern. So I figure that it is something good to add to my quarantine daily schedule. There is just something so fun about getting a hand written note in the mail. It rarely happens and so it is extra special.

Evening Time

After dinner I love going on an evening walk and enjoying the cooler weather. I also love planning some games with my family. I try to clean the house before bedtime so that I can wake up with a fresh mind.

At the end of a long quarantine day- the best thing is a bubble bath. Baths are my love language- I love them sooo much! I take one every few days. I will usually fill the tub with my favorite bath bombs and another good podcast. Can you see I am a podcast lover?
