As I have been sharing about a ton on my Instagram stories- we bought our first home! I have shared here too but I have been sharing all the behind scenes on my stories of the decorating. I have loved it sooo much even though it is a little overwhelming with all the stuff I want to do! I am so happy that we have been able to make house a home. I have always wanted a house with an office because I work at home. My dream finally came true! The office was the first area that I wanted done since it is right when you walk into the house. It is the first impression of the house so I wanted to make it super cute! I kinda love that the office is the first thing you see because it is the easiest room to keep clean. In designing the room the main thing I wanted was a fun wallpaper pattern that caught your eye as you walked in.
We just recently put up this gorgeous wallpaper from RoomMates Decor®. For a unique look that suits the boho-modern atmosphere of my home, but also adds dimension to an office, nothing beats geometric! The geometric wallpaper we chose is so cute and works perfectly with the decor in the room. I love that it isn’t too busy but mostly just SO fun! I love that the other wall is blank to offset it. I think I might put a shelf there with more travel photos but for right now I am loving it plain so we will see!
Eric my husband was so kind to put it up the wallpaper for me while I was recovering from putting my back out a couple weeks ago. It was incredibly easy because the wallpaper is peel and stick. Another must for this room was that I wanted a futon. I love that when we have guests this room can quickly become a guest room. I think I will hang up a TV in here in the future since we have an extra one. And yes the fiddle fig tree Frank is real! That is the most asked question I get after asking about the wallpaper.
I love the cozy velvet office chair- such a good price too! I love this room & it is easily my favorite place to hang out so it makes working a lot more fun!
