One of my favorite places in our home is Beck’s room! At our old house it was pretty similar but more jungle themed. But I wanted to switch that up!
We just recently moved into a more rural farming city with lots of cows and horses surrounding the mountains around us. We even have a horse across the street from us. Fun fact I am scared of horses but I love seeing him out my window from a distance haha. I wanted to feature the animals that live near us in Beck’s room but also wanted a boho feel added as well. I love this cow print that I was gifted by Emily from mybohofarm.com. I am obsessed with highland cows and smile every time I see one. Now that Beck has this print in his room it makes me happy. Seriously in love with all her other prints too- the llamas kill me!
Another favorite feature of his room is the floating bookshelves. I got the shelves c/o Cloud Zero. I am loving the look of them & that they display books also. I LOVE children’s books and am way more keen to buy it if it has a cute cover so I like showing them off! It saves so much space and has a safety lip that prevents the books from slipping off. I was leery of getting a standard bookshelf in his room because of the risk of it falling on him. I love how easy and convenient it was to install and how clean and simple it looks. The acrylic is also very sturdy and almost indestructible so that is helpful for use in a boys room. I love acrylic lately- I have an acrylic calendar I am making & just got acrylic frames the other day.
I tried to also make it travel themed. We love to travel & Beck does too and I hope that he always feels the same way. I love the map wall hanging as well as the vintage globe piggy bank. Beck’s room is a favorite place to hang out for both him & I! If you have questions about where anything else is from just ask! Happy Travels Beck!
