I loooove Valentine’s Day! Well who am I kidding- I love all holidays and any excuse to party! But I really do love Valentine’s. Even when I was single- I just loved celebrating love and there are so many people out to there to love. Now that I am a mama I love giving my littles a Valentine’s treat. And what better than some books! I love decorating the shelf in my son’s room with holiday themed books. I am really picky about books and love ones with a cute cover so that I can also read and display them. Not trying to judge a book by it’s cover but I do a little bit! Here is a round up of my favorites! And a lot of them are on sale too.

Love is // This book is so precious. It is about a little girl who cares for a duckling. She learns that caring for someone is loving them.

Hug Machine // A little boy hugs all that he sees and is a cute little hug machine. I feel this- my son loves to hug!

In my Heart // This book is so sweet and all about feelings. I think it is so important to teach little ones about what they are feeling, why etc.

Lola Dutch, I love you so much // I love the Lola Dutch books! This one is so cute. Lola tries to cheer up her friends that are having a bad day. There are a lot of other cute books in this series.

Mirabel’s Missing Valentines // A cute little mouse loses some valentines on the way to school. But others find the valentines that need them and they cheer them up.

Love is a Truck // I have a major truck loving boy so I love this book. It is so cute to have a book all about trucks and love mixed together. I also like this one because it is more of a boy option in a holiday that is sometimes all pink.

A Hug is for Holding Me // This sweet book is all about hugs and has the prettiest illustrations- really cute.

Will you be my Valentine? // This book is new but looks vintage and is the cutest little thing! A perfect board book for little hands.

How Many Do I Love You? // This cute book teaches counting and explores different animals. Super cute.

Love is a Tutu // I love love and love this book! So cute and perfect for those dancing ballerinas in your life!

Plant a Kiss // This book has a great message. All about planting one act of kindness and watching it grow.

This is Not a Valentine // Since I have boys I thought this book would be fun for them! It isn’t about mushy gushy in a funny way. And I love the style of illustrations!
