I am working on a full Moab blog post- we had such a blast this past weekend! I got a lot of questions on my instagram stories that I can’t wait to answer. But let me just say that Moab has really raised the bar- it is a blast & there is so much to do! Last time we were in Moab I spotted the Moab Giants museum & even from the road it looked so cool! Moab is basically always hot haha so I was looking for something that would be a fun family activity that you are able to do with a baby since river rafting is out of the picture.
Let me just say that Moab Giants is little boy heaven! Beck was so in love with all the dinosaurs! He kept roaring haha- they are pretty dang impressive & huge! Moab Giants is a lot more than just a museum or just dinosaurs. My favorite part was the 5D aquarium! There is a part where some water sprays & the ground shakes- it was SO cool & life like! I highly recommend it- the technology was awesome. There is also museum part with a real dinosaur footprint & other awesome dinosaur stuff! It was nice to be indoors & cool off from the sun- I also loved the nice theater.
Outside there is seriously so much to do & see! There is a nice path where you can walk & see over 100 life sized dinosaurs! These dinosaurs are so well made & life like. I bet there are so many kids that come & know all the names & get so into it- but even Beck loved it! Along the path there are dig sites. It is a giant sandbox with shovels & buckets where you can dig for dinosaur bones. If you have seen any of my instagram stories you know that Beck loves digging & he never wanted to leave these dig sites haha it was so cute. Moab Giants is awesome because they have thought of the parents with kids who love to be at the dig sites haha there are misters- it made it so enjoyable!
There is also a fun playground, an awesome gift shop & cafe! Moab Giants is such a fun family activity to do while you are in Southern Utah! I have never been to a dinosaur museum with so many dinosaurs! It is cool to see the bones but it was so fun to see all the giants dinosaurs & to see Beck get so excited about it- he loved touching all their feet haha.
