I can’t believe that Beck is THREE! Mind boggling & kinda sad. But he is hilarious & keeps us on our toes. I love this stage aside from the hard tantrums but when he is good he is so fun & cute! I had so much fun planning a 3 year old boy party.
Beck loves dinosaurs so I knew I wanted to have a party that went along with the 3 Rex theme! Little boys & dinosaurs are a good combo! Beck also loves reptiles & really all animals- so I got it in my mind that we needed to have a reptile show & I am soooo glad we did! It was a hit & everyone is still talking about the show from Creature Encounters!
For food I knew I wanted to have something for the herbivores- the veggies. But a lot for the sweetivores like me! The Chocolate who has a location in Orem & West Jordan, UT did all the dessert & I could not have been happier! I love that they just went with my vision & made it better than I ever could have dreamed of!
I LOVED the ruffle cake with the ombre effect! Not only was the cake amazing looking but SO delicious! I loved all the other desserts as well- I seriously don’t think I can pick a favorite- maybe the sugar cookies with the dino footprints! The best thing you can do for a party is let The Chocolate take over! Less stress for you & your guests will be so impressed! I am going to be doing a giveaway with them in the future so watch out on my Instagram.
With the Three Rex theme I knew I needed fun Three Rex balloons! Cher Can Do It was great to work with & she has the funnest balloons that can go with your theme or inspire your theme all together! The balloons were SO easy to blow up & they came with a ribbon to thread right onto! Highly recommend!
Grammy’s PomPoms made the dino tails & the party hat & they were sooo fun! I loved that she would work with me to make the tails the coordinating colors of the party. You need to check out her shop because she even has shark tails! So talented & such a fun accessory to make a statement, a favor or dress up later on! It was a hit at the 3 year old boy party with all the other kids.
I wanted to tie in the invite with this party & Pink Ink and Paper did the perfect job! It is so fun how his invite went along with the colors. And how perfect are the thank you tags! It was so fun tracking down little dinos to tie them to! I thought the adopt a dino was a fun and unique party favor if I do say so haha.
With all the green and leaves I was going for a Jurassic theme- hope that came across. I loved the tropical leaf banners from banner and spread from Crafting by Night! She also made the fun tropical leaf confetti that I thought was the perfect extra touch!
One of my favorite touches were the dinosaur plates that tied the theme all together! Geese & Ganders is where all the paper goods are from & the quality of it all was amazing! Mixing the green, black & white patterns was so fun. Using the cupcake tropical leaf liners for veggies were perfect! I love that Geese & Ganders focuses on ditching the boy & girl aisles- I love the mix of fun patterns & themes! I want to choose a theme they have every year because they add a fun mix of patterns for you! Let Geese & Ganders help you pull of an A+ party!
I loved the added details of the chalk prints coming to the door and the dino dig! I got a kiddie pool & filled it with sand & mini dinos & dino bones. The kids used paintbrushes & magnifying glasses to dig & check out all the dinos. It was a big hit & Beck has insisted we keep it in the garage. For the chalk prints I printed off a dino footprint & sister cut it out & filled it in with chalk- super easy!
The party would not have been the same without the dino party hats! I couldn’t stop laughing I loved them so much! They were the icing on the cake! Lilac Grey Studio made the party hats & she was great to customize them to go along with my theme & colors. She also sent the gold dinos that I loved decorating with. I loved the extra tiny hats & dinos so much- anything tiny is just so cute always haha.
*Beck’s cute dinosaur romper is from Rags. I have probably 20 of their rompers for Beck. They are easy to slip on and off and last forever! I also love the style of them. So nice to only have one piece to need to buy. Check them out!
I am really so excited to share with you about Creature Encounters! HIRE THEM FOR YOUR NEXT BIRTHDAY PARTY! Or graduation, family reunion you name it! Cary the owner is sooo entertaining, educated & just a blast! He knows & cares for these animals & shares his passion with you! It was not a reptile show where you had to sit and wait for a turn but instead there were tons of animals for the kids to touch & enjoy! I can’t even count all the animals he brought! There were so many lizards, tortoises, snakes & more! I have never seen a snake as big as he brought. All the kids were so into it & it was really a blast! Let me add that all the adults loved it too. I think that was my favorite part that there was something for everyone & all the guests had fun not just the kids.
Cary from Creature Encounters even popped some cockroaches in his mouth & then popped them out- the wow factor was included! I loved all the big snakes & overcame my fear because I decided When in Rome! But I think that I loved the big 4 foot lizard the most that we fed a banana to! I have people still mentioning how fun the party was thanks to Creature Encounters! This was for sure Beck’s best party yet- a hit for a 3 year old boy party!
